The Stone House & Casita at Nowhere - a remote artistic desert escape.

Welcome to Nowhere, our magical piece of Wonder Valley! Come escape it all, get lost, or find yourself in the middle of nowhere. We can't wait for you to experience a sunrise hike right out the back door, the sunset on the patio, or the stars at night.

The stone house and homestead cabin are both renovated to offer an eclectic and artistic stay. Built in the 1950s, each room is full of creative charm, providing a serene and unique atmosphere, reminiscent of walking into an old book store. While preserving the historical allure, we ensure a clean environment throughout your stay. Prepare to experience quiet and privacy in our remote escape.

Parties of 1-8 will have access to The Stone House, Pool, Pool Bar, Hot Tub, Fire Pit and Basketball Court during your stay (accomodation includes 3 King beds and one Queen). Parties of 9-12 will also have access to the Casita (addition of 2 more rooms each with a queen bed).

I am available through the app. I also have a local property manager should anything arise during your stay.

Property access is by car via dirt roads. DO NOT DRIVE ON PIPELINE ROAD. Please take Godwin to Moritz to Gayley LN to Indian Trail. Other roads in the area are soft sand and you will get stuck if you follow your GPS.

Parties & Quiet Hours

We look forward to having you, just be aware that this is not a party house. Outdoor DJ speakers are not allowed but smaller bluetooth speakers are just fine. The county noise ordinance begins at 10pm.

Dust & Desert Wildlife

The Stone House is located in the remote area of Wonder Valley, California. We work with a local landscaping company to maintain our property but guests should be prepared to encounter the natural elements of dust and bugs during your trip.

Cellphone Service

Cellphone signal and availability in the desert varies greatly. Be prepared by enabling WIFI calling.

Additional Towels

Shower and pool towels are provided. Please bring any additional towels you may require.

Privacy & Environment

The Stone House and Casita are located in the remote desert landscape of Wonder Valley. Your host owns a third house, also available for rent, next door. Though the properties are close, they share no amenities and your stay will be private. Please be prepared for sand as the region experiences high winds and moving sands.
